Bad Credit Loan - A Friend In Bad Times

Bad Credit Loan - A Friend in Bad Times

by Vipul Jain

Bad credit loans are the loans that are offered to those
borrowers who have a bad credit history. A bad credit history
includes arrears, default, county court judgments, bankruptcy,
etc. You acquire a bad credit score when you fail to make
payments on time. Late payments are detrimental to your chances
of getting a fresh loan. Default in the loan repayment is even
worse and must be avoided to keep a clean credit record.

Traditionally, it is believed that lenders do not offer loans to
the borrowers with a bad credit history. A borrower with a poor
credit rating is considered as a high risk borrower by lenders.
This is because such a borrower has defaulted in the past. Even
if the lender grants a bad credit loan, he will charge a very
high rate of interest to compensate for the risk associated with
such a loan. Because of high interest rate, payment of monthly
installments becomes unaffordable. Another disadvantage of a bad
credit loan is a short loan period. This further increases the
amount of monthly installments.

There has been a change in the attitude of lenders towards bad credit
loans
. With the saturation of the traditional loan
market, lenders are treating bad credit loan market as a big
business opportunity. They are offering a variety of bad credit
loans to woo prospective customers. With increasing competition,
lenders are now offering bad credit loans at reasonable interest
rates. A bad credit loan secured against a property will help
you get a low rate loan. Homeowners can use their house to
obtain a secured bad credit loan. Tenants, however,
cannot take advantage of low rate secured loans.

Before applying for a bad credit loan, you must consider
repairing your bad credit score. Close down your unused credit
card accounts. If you are unable to repay your loan, contact
your creditor and explain your problem. Your creditor might come
up with a solution that will help you repay your loan. Your
creditor might waive off some of the outstanding loan amount
thus improving your credit score. For the lender, getting
something is better than getting nothing. You can even take the
help of a professional credit counseling agency to repair your
credit score.

Unsecured Loan: A Blessing In Disguise For Tenants

Unsecured loan: a blessing in disguise for tenants

by Nidhi Sachdeva

In the recent past, Britain has seen a steep rise in its mobile
workforce. This has prompted a sharp increase in the number of
people hunting for a rented accommodation. Besides work, a
number of other reasons like unavailability of council homes,
divorce etc. may be attributed to the increase in the number of
tenants in the UK. If you are a tenant it is very obvious that
you will not be able to offer a home as collateral for a loan.
In other words, you automatically become ineligible for a
secured loan unless you forward something else like stocks, car
or jewellery as security and your lender accepts them too.

In a situation where your lender is not so understanding and you
need to borrow money urgently, what do you do? To cater to the
financial needs of tenants a different category of loans by the
name of unsecured loans was propounded.

Unsecured
loans
are a form of credit that is especially meant for
people who cannot offer collateral. Since, there is no security
provided to the lender, his risk increases several times. To
offset his risk therefore, the lender levies a high rate of
interest.

But unsecured loans also come with several advantages.
Firstly, absence of collateral eliminates the need for
valuation, thus saving you the cost of valuation, arrangement,
solicitor's and conveyance fees. What's more you save time also
and paperwork becomes a lot less hassle prone. Consequently, an
unsecured loan has a swifter approval process.

Your credit score plays a very vital role in the process of
getting your unsecured loan approved. A bad credit score
increases your chances of facing a loan refusal, whereas a
splendid credit history may be rewarded with a low rate of
interest. Basically the point is that your lender needs to be
convinced about your repayment ability. Once that is done, the
rest may just be a cakewalk.

However, if you are refused a loan on account of your poor
credit score, don't lose hope. There are a lot of lenders that
lend money to poor credit holders and that too at easy terms.

YOUR ROAD TO BECOMING A REAL MILLIONAIRE

YOUR ROAD TO BECOMING A REAL MILLIONAIRE

by Daegan Smith

Health is wealth but economics has taught us a great deal about
the consequences of being devoid of wealth. It can be painful,
sickening and discouraging at best.

Truly, poverty is a choice. Whatever you are doing, it will have
a direct impact on how you determine your life in the future and
how your finances will determine the way you live your life in
the days to come.

However, it is important to realize that many of our actions are
the springboard by which we take our leap to chalk up the
much-needed abundance necessary to live your life to the
fullest; travel places, buy things you needs, satisfy your
wants, and indulge on the most expensive real-life getaway.

While these seem easy to do, the question still remains as: ìHow
can you become a millionaire without you waiting a lifetime?î

The next section provides suggestions and insight on how the
most popular business people in the market have risen to be one
of the top money-making individuals in their lifetime and how
they managed to maintain their money-making skills while keeping
those hard-earned dollars in their pockets.

Determine What You Want

Perhaps if you are a teenager, your number one priority would be
surviving all the hardships beset to you as a teen such as mood
swings due to erratic hormonal attacks, the troubles of puberty,
and your dealing with schooling.

While these are significant and forms part of our daily dealings
with life, the fact of living focuses on earning money and how
you as a person should be empowered to share the wealth the
world has to offer.

In any case, the desire to become rich is something that one
person takes early on. This becomes his commitment and number
one priority and uses every opportunity along the way to bring
him/her one step closer to achieving that dream.

Jennifer Kushell, President and Co-founder of Young & Successful
Media Corp is a perfect example of a young woman who thought of
building his huge empire of business enterprise and be her own
boss and create tool by which everybody can learn while looking
for ways to developing their own money-generating machineries.

She started with her own hand-painted t-shirts when she was in
her teenage years and created an online interactive media by
which young people can interact with one another and share
experiences about money-making and at the same time providing
them with tips on how to start their journey through the world
of entrepreneurship.

At the outset, you have to know exactly what you want and what
is important to you, something which you want to do and cherish
for the rest of your life. If affluence is good for you in all
aspects of your life, there are ways to do it. Everything is a
matter of choice.

As Professors Richard McKenzie of the University of
California-Irvine and Dwight Lee of the University of Georgia
had put it, ìMost people in America got rich because they chose
to do so, and they pursued a path to wealth that is wide open to
most of the rest of us. Indeed, becoming rich is a matter of
choice.î

Work on Individual Steps Towards One Goal

The road to richness is bumpy and full of obstacles. Perhaps,
the best defense as you go through this road of uncertainty is
perseverance. Focus on your goals and never lead astray from it.

Sergey Brin, co-founder of Google search engine share similar
experience in this road to success. Together with, Larry Page,
they left school to develop their university project, a search
engine project, which will provide an online tool where people
will find most of their needs online, organize the wealth of
information on the net and make searching a bit less
complicated.

It must have taken time to develop such technology but their
effort has proven its worth along the way. They did not let
discouragement from classmates and professors to interfere with
their goals yet used them towards the fulfilment of their
dreams.

Manage Money Well

Successful and financially stable people have one thing in
common: they do not spend more than what they earn, and they
invest! You may realize that indulging on expensive clothing,
cars, house accessories, technologies, etc, are stripping you of
your valuable resources which can otherwise be used to other
means and make them multiply.

Not living beyond your means is one way of putting yourself at
risk of unstable financial situation, worst, bankruptcy. Give up
those luxury and start managing your finances.

Take the Risk

About 4% of all Americans, that is around 11 million of the
entire population are rich. The secret? They invest! Put up your
own business or take on a partnership role with a reliable
friend.

Buy some stocks or have others use them for you while gaining
some amount of percentage out of the borrowed money. There are
limitless possibilities to becoming rich and one valid way to
doing this is by taking those little risks and opening yourself
up for a possible blow on the waist when things work hard for
you.

Refinance Home Mortgage Loan With Poor Credit - 3 Tips On Getting Approved

Refinance Home Mortgage Loan With Poor Credit - 3 Tips On
Getting Approved

by Carrie Reeder

Refinancing your home mortgage is the cheapest type of credit
you can access when you have a poor credit history. Based on
your property's value and equity, you can pull out cash for home
improvements or to consolidate bills. Or you can decide simply
to reduce your rates and monthly payments. To get the best deal
on your next mortgage loan, follow these three tips.

1. Check Out Rates

Before you dive into a mortgage contract, check out rates first.
This will give you an idea of what you can borrow and at what
rates. It will also help you find the most competitive lender
for your type of credit.

At this point, you don't want to give permission for financing
companies to look at your credit report. Too many credit
inquires can really hurt your credit score. While loan estimates
aren't guaranteed, they can give a good idea of loan costs,
especially if they ask about your credit score.

2. Do Some Preventative Maintenance On Your Credit Report

Prior to completing a loan application, do a check up on your
credit report. It doesn't hurt to check for any mistakes. And
you may be surprised to find that you actually have a decent
credit history.

If you have the chance, pay off part of your debt to improve
your loan application. Having several accounts with low balances
rather than one or two maxed accounts will also help you qualify
for better rates.

3. Opt For Easier Terms

Sub prime lenders offer a variety of mortgage loan terms to help
you qualify for lower rates and payments. In general, adjustable
rate mortgages offer the lowest initial rates. The risk,
however, is that your payments will increase if rates go up.

But be open to lender suggestions. They may offer a unique
package that meets your future financial goals. For example,
some mortgages refi after two years if your credit score
improves.

In today's financing market, you don't have to be worried about
getting approved or not for a refinanced mortgage. You should be
concerned over finding the lowest costing financing. Luckily,
online lenders make the search so much easier.

American Express Blue Cards: Which Blue Is For You?

American Express Blue Cards: Which Blue Is For You?

by Ed Vegliante

Times certainly have changed for American Express. Gone are the
days where the American Express card was simply a charge card
that had to be paid off in full every month. Yes, the old
workhorse - the green card - is still available and popular too.
However, American Express decided to take MasterCard and VISA on
directly by offering its own line of credit cards. These "blue"
cards have been such a hit with consumers that the admired
financial giant is now offering four different blue cards from
which consumers can choose. Each American Express blue card is
different, so let's take a look at just what makes each one so
special.

American Express Sky Blue, The Ultimate Travel Rewards Card

Sky Blue - If you are tired of all those rewards cards that
promise you a weekend in Las Vegas, but can only deliver you an
overnight stay in Providence, then the Sky Blue card should
appeal to you. Touted by American Express as putting an end to
travel reward card restrictions, Sky Blue goes where no other
American Express blue card has gone before it. With absolutely
no black out dates and no travel restrictions, the Sky Blue card

annual fee; discounts on airline tickets, hotel stays, and car
rentals. You even get free coverage on rental car insurance and
travel accident insurance with Sky Blue.

Blue Cash For Cold, Hard Cash

isn't a card that matches the American Express Blue Cash card.

that really works for card holders as it gives back 5% cash on
just about everything you buy. Save 5% on gas. Save 5% on
drugstore visits, on the bills you pay, and on so much more.
Best of all, you don't have to worry about redeeming your points
as every year American Express will give you your earnings back
to you in the form of a big fat credit to your account!

The Original Blue: The American Express Blue Card

whole blue movement rolling. Although it isn't as power packed
with the features found in Sky Blue or Blue Cash, the Blue card

first time nets users a cool 5,000 points right off the bat. You
can also get double points at many places where you like to shop
or eat.

card companies. What are you waiting for? Put an American

Stealing Your Home From Underneath You - The Growing Problem Of Title Fraud

Stealing Your Home From Underneath You - the Growing Problem of
Title Fraud

by Donna Lewczuk

Imagine this. A Canadian homeowner - a successful professional
with a lovely home in a nice neighbourhood - arrives home after
work one day to find a "For Sale" sign on his lawn. Imagining
that it may be a practical joke, he asks his wife if she's
unhappy with the house! But his wife has no idea why the sign is
there, or who put it up. It turns out that the couple are the
victims of title fraud - a crime that's on a worrisome rise here
in Canada.

How is it possible? While there are several variations on the
crime, the basics are usually the same. The fraudster will
target a home and falsify legal documents to create a convincing
paper trail to "prove" their ownership of the home. They then
proceed to mortgage the home and disappear with the money.
Often, the rightful owners will have no idea what's going on
until a financial institution tracks them down to demand
payments on a loan they never knew existed. In some cases, the
fraudsters have actually stolen their identity: an especially
difficult twist for the homeowner, who must also clear his/her
name.

The easy access to electronic data -- on both people and
property -- may be contributing to the rise in title fraud,
which is costing homeowners and financial institutions millions
of dollars each year. And though it's a serious challenge to the
lenders, it can be financially devastating to the homeowner.

Fortunately, Canadians have access to some protection against
title fraud. A growing number of Canadian homeowners are
purchasing "title insurance": a product that offers some
specific protections against title fraud and other potential
pitfalls:

· A new survey shows a minor zoning violation that will require
a variance - a process that will delay the close of the sale.
Title insurance may allow the sale to close on time.

· Several months after moving in, a new owner discovers that the
heating ducts were cut off in an amateur renovation, done
without permits. Title insurance could cover the cost of the
repair and related expenses.

· An older property has the lenders worried: though there's no
evidence of any problem, there is no survey for the property,
and no record of permits for water or septic. Title insurance
may provide lenders with the confidence to proceed with the
mortgage.

Not surprising, title insurance is gaining support among both
lenders and lawyers, who see the value of this kind of increased
homeowner protection. Although some protection exists through
your lawyer's "errors and omissions" insurance - and the Land
Registry has an assurance fund in place that may be helpful -
homeowners have learned the hard way that accessing these monies
can take time, legal hire, and money (potentially a lot) on
their part. On the other hand, title insurance - available at a
modest, one-time cost - gives you immediate payout on a wide
range of title problems. Best of all, title protection insurance
is not limited to new purchasers only - it's now available to
current homeowners as well.

In case you're wondering, the couple in the story above - which
is based on one of the case files of Canada's leading title
insurance company - did eventually regain title to their house.
But it's a cautionary tale. Next time you make any changes to
your mortgage, make sure to inquire about title insurance.

5 Ways To Instantly Increase Your Credit Card Limit

5 Ways To Instantly Increase Your Credit Card Limit

by Rene Graeber

A lot of credit card holders aspire for a higher credit card
limit.

But: credit card holders need to remember that to get a higher
credit card limit, they must abide by the terms and conditions
of the credit card company or their bank.

Here are 5 ways to get a higher credit card limit:

1. Prove your credit worthiness The most important thing to do
for getting a higher credit card limit is to prove your credit
worthiness. This is the first thing that banks and companies
look for when giving a higher credit limit.

2. Attract positive attention from the credit card company At
least: try to attract positive attention by paying finance
charges once in a while. Obviously, this is not advisable on a
repeating basis and should only be used as a last resort to
increase your chances of getting a higher credit limit.

Proving to credit card companies and banks that you are good
"borrower" can be a convincing way to get a higher credit limit.
But be careful because this strategy also means that you will be
paying finance charges which can accumulate in a hurry.

3. Always spend within your credit card limit Doing so means
that you are capable of controlling your expenses.

4. Use your credit cards regularly Don't keep your cards for
emergency use only. If you use your credit cards sparingly,
banks and credit card companies will be unable to understand
your spending and pay-back behavior. Under these circumstances,
most banks and credit card companies will be reluctant to give
you a higher credit card limit.

5. Avoid late payments as much as possible This technique will
not only increase your payment increase, but you may also have
to pay an additional fine for not clearing bills on time. This
will also dim your chances of getting a higher credit card limit.

The bottom line is that your performance in the records of banks
and credit card companies will determine whether you'll get a
higher credit card limit or not.

Publicity - How To Get Your Story On Television

Publicity - How To Get Your Story on Television

by Ned Steele

A press release telling about "Stevie, the Water-Skiing Squirrel" will never get that talented mammal on the TV news.

But that same press release, accompanied by video of Stevie jumping over mini-ramps in an inflatable pool, will make the news 99 days out of 100.

Words on paper or screen alone do not make a TV story. If you want to crack the TV news or the talk shows, you must demonstrate that you have a “visual.”

A visual is the images or video that accompanies the words. TV needs something that moves or talks to tell its stories.

If it looks interesting or nice, that’s a plus. They will shoot the video; you don’t need to. But often you do need to suggest what to shoot.

Example: the story is advice for would-be homeowners.

The visual you’ll suggest: stock footage of different types of houses in your area, plus background video of an “open house” event.

Newspapers and magazines also like to use visuals. Going to be quoted in a story? Offer a headshot of yourself, or of any other pertinent image. Remember to think of the media as another client and provide them with excellent service. Don’t ask them to do it if you can help.

Television Reporters - Questions To Ask Before Agreeing To An Interview

Television Reporters - Questions to Ask Before Agreeing to an Interview

by Thomas Murrell

Prior to a TV interview it is guaranteed the journalist involved will spend time preparing, writing down questions or goals for the interview either quickly or more in-depth as well as conducting some background research. As the interview subject it is important to undergo a similar preparation process to make the most out of your media opportunity.
By asking your own question you are able to perform at your best and be prepared for the interview.

Here are 10 questions you should ask the TV reporter prior to agreeing to be interviewed.

1. Have the journalist identify who they are.

Establishing a rapport with the person and knowing their name is vital. Write it down somewhere so you can recall it easily and remember the name prior to the interview. After the interview ask for a business card and add it to your media contact file.

2. What TV station they are from?

This will help put the interview in context. This seems like a very simple question however often media is syndicated and your interview exposed to a wider audience then expected.

3. What program they reporting for?

Is it news, current affairs or a lifestyle program? Again, this will help determine the style and context of interview. You are then more able to predict the types of questions or angle they will take on the subject.

4. What is their deadline?

The electronic media operates in a high pressure environment where seconds make a huge difference. If you know what the deadline is, you can get an understanding of the immediacy of the story. This will provide direction on whether the story will be broadcast on tonight's news or the call is just for background and research with no immediate deadline.

5. Will it be recorded or live?

Recorded interviews allow for editing. Live interviews have added pressures because there's no room for mistakes.

6. Will the interview be in the studio or in the field?

Studios tend to be very sterile, controlled and intimidating environments while a field interview can provide context for the story. If you can control the background visuals for the interview on your turf, with a company logo or product, this will help maximise free branding and promotional opportunities.

7. What is the news angle?

Hearing what the story is directly from the journalist will help provide direction and give you an opportunity to prepare suitable answers.

8. Who else are they interviewing?

Again, this will put the interview in context and help provide background. This type of information is vital when preparing a response or key messages.

9. Who is the target audience for the interview or program?

The more you understand who will be watching the interview the more targeted your message can be to that audience.

10. What are the logistics?

When, where and at what time will the interview be conducted? Being organised, prepared and as stress free as possible is essential for any TV interview. Allow plenty of time and be organised so you can perform at your best.

Reality Television Shows Spark New Phenomenon In Fashion

Reality Television Shows Spark New Phenomenon In Fashion

by Stephanie Grace

Reality television shows for celebrities have proven to be very
successful and has sparked a new phenomenon in the fashion world
now affectionately being called, "Celebrity Inspired Tees." Fans
are showing loyalty by the thousands by clamoring to wear
celebrity phrases on t-shirts, hats, belts and coffee mugs.
Multi-Millionaire Donald Trump, Socialite Paris Hilton and
reality show newcomer R& B star Whitney Houston all have one
thing in common, phrases they have now added to their fans
everyday vocabulary. As an example when Paris Hilton in her
reality show "The Simple Life" uttered two simple words "That's
Hot" it spurned a demand for belts, tees, hats and sweaters
bearing her famous sexy words. Even millionaire Donald Trump
relished in the victory of creating a two syllable word that
thrusted him into the reality show spotlight with "You're
Fired." We also can't forget "Bling Bling" which became the
catchphrase of the year when the Lakers celebrated their second
championship and Shaquille O'Neal shouted those words from the
podium in an attempt to hint at the fact that they were now in
possession of several diamond encrusted championship rings.
"Bling Bling" was actually added to the dictionary and in humor
became a part of everyone's daily vocabulary. Celebrity inspired
tees are hot! A few retailers online have jumped in the frey
just look for them in all major search engines or catch your
favorite celebrities actually wearing the items themselves.

Uncle Sam Is Ready...Are You? Organizing Tips For Tax Time

Uncle Sam is Ready...Are You? Organizing Tips for Tax Time

by Stacey Agin Murray

Anyone who is closely related to an accountant knows that there are not four, but five seasons in a year: Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter, and 'Tax Season.' During the other seasons, we accumulate leaves, snow, and mosquito bites. During 'Tax Season' we accumulate paper. And more paper. And if you have a small business or investments--even more paper.

Whether you hire someone to prepare your taxes or attempt to decipher the forms yourself, it is imperative that your papers be in order for this 'fifth season.' Organizing your tax-related documents is not just a project for the evening of April 13th. Good tax organization is a year-round process.

Some pitfalls of being disorganized at tax time:

  • You run the risk of misplacing important receipts/documents

  • You feel stressed from the mad dash to the tax preparer/post office on April 14th

  • Your tax preparer may charge you more money if they have to spend time wading through your piles of loose receipts.

How to remedy these tax-time situations? Prepare now for next year by getting organized!

Set up an all-year round file system

Designate a box, accordion file, or a file cabinet for year-round paper storage and retrieval. Create folders for receipts, credit card and bank statements, anything you have spent money on or need to keep track of for tax purposes. As you acquire such documents, place them in the appropriately labeled folder. This is beneficial not only for tax time but for when you have to retrieve certain papers throughout the year.

Give your tax-related papers a home

Every January, our mailboxes become flooded with documents necessary for filing your taxes. At the beginning of the year, designate a large envelope or box in one area of your home or a file in your file cabinet for these papers. Examples of these are:

  • W2's

  • 1099's

  • Mortgage interest statements

  • Bank interest statements

  • Real estate tax statements

  • Investment statements

  • Receipts for charitable donations

Sort and create categories for your papers/receipts

By early February you should have received all paperwork necessary to complete your taxes. Take that envelope/box/file of collected papers and sort them by category. This process will enable you or your tax preparer to quickly locate your papers and receipts. Some basic categories are:

  • Salary

  • Real Estate

  • Medical

  • Childcare

  • Investments

Save your tax preparer aggravation by throwing away the envelopes that your statements came in and tear off the perforated edges from your income statements. Group the documents into the categories you’ve created and paper clip them together. Place all of these papers in a folder or large envelope.

Call your tax preparer early

If you're using a tax preparer, call in January to schedule a mid to late February tax appointment. Doing this forces you to organize and compile all the necessary information by that date. Also, accountants get very busy as April 15th approaches. You don’t want an exhausted accountant doing your taxes...

Being organized at tax time will give you greater control over the tax preparation process. Instead of feeling overwhelmed, you will feel a sense of calm and accomplishment. Instead of frantically searching for documents you will be able to produce them at a moment’s notice. Instead of your accountant cursing your name, he/she will sing your praises when you present them with an envelope of organized papers and receipts.

The sooner you get organized for tax time the sooner you may get that big refund check. If that’s not motivation enough, I don’t know what is...

Organizing A Car Wash Fundraiser

Organizing a Car Wash Fundraiser

by Lance Winslow

The key to a successful car wash fundraiser event is to eliminate chaos before it starts. Having done more than 100 car wash fundraisers myself, I can safely say that there is a right way and a wrong way to do a car wash fundraiser. Here are some tips in organizing your next successful car wash fundraiser.

ORGANIZING

Bringing the troops together isn’t easy. First they need to be motivated. Chances are you already have synergy in your group. You need to harvest this synergy to make an effective team. There are a number of assignments to do to have a successful fundraiser. If this is a sports team or other well-organized group, you will already have a support structure, which will help tremendously. You will first need to set up a car wash fundraiser committee. Here are the assignments:

Person in charge

Publicity coordinator

Location and site locator

Supplies needed person

Ticket sales captain

Shift scheduler

Post car wash follow up person

Environmental coordinator

Since you are probably in charge, seeing as you are reading this book, your job description is as follows:

Person In Charge:

Pitch the idea to a group and get them to approve it. Find volunteers. Make a time line starting six weeks before and up to one week after the event. Look over the descriptions of other assignments. Make sure you feel confident that each volunteer is capable and willing to do his or her assignments. Regularly check to make sure assignments are being met. Check often. Team follow up is essential. Also, get or make the tickets. Make sure you feel confident that you can do all this. If not, either get the confidence or explain briefly the car wash fundraiser idea and give this book to a person who you know can do anything. The other job descriptions are as follows:

Publicity Coordinator:

Call all local publications that are applicable and submit information to the Community Calendar sections. Call the radio stations. Make sure they put the event on the Public Service Announcements (PSA’s) schedule. Call local reporters and let them know of your event. Make signs. Make wrapped coffee cans for extra donations. Write a letter to the editor of your local newspaper two weeks before the event.

Location And Site Locator:

Find a visible high traffic location. Contact property owners. Get insurance for the event if property owners desire such. Discuss traffic flow with the property owner. One week before the event write a confirmation and thank you letter.

Supplies Needed Person:

Round up buckets, hoses, soap, sponges, towels, etc. Collect signs from the publicity person before the event.

Ticket Sales Captain (Coach):

Give out tickets to your group’s sales force. Keep a log of tickets given out and money collected. Schedule meetings two times per week with your sales staff. Make sure your log matches with the number of tickets and amount of money they collected.

Shift Scheduler:

Make sure you have enough volunteers to come and wash the cars the day of the event. Have exact names and times and make sure the volunteers know when they are working. Have phone numbers for all your volunteers. Call and confirm with each person the week of the event.

Post Car Wash Person:

Make certificates for the other assigned jobs on the committee. Make a certificate for the gas station owner or the property owner. Send a letter to the editor of your local newspaper publicly thanking everyone for their support. Make sure the car wash site is spotless when the car wash fundraiser is done. Sample standard thank you letters are in the Appendix Section of this book.

Environmental Coordinator (If Needed):

Make sure no car wash water goes into storm drains, ditches or waterways. Get vacuums to remove excess water, block off storms drains, etc.

How To Make Your Life More Organized

How to Make Your Life More Organized

by Chuck R Stewart

There are lots of ladies who will agree that their lives are stressful and it is hard to keep everything together. Also, numerous females will tell you that their purses are normally big messes with everything their entire lives shoved into the handbag. This is where a can be a good idea . Purse organizers are for those kinds of women who are tired of hunting through their purses to find car keys, a credit card, lip gloss, etc.

There are all kinds of women who really should keep their purses organized. Busy moms might require an organized purse so they know where the children's snacks and medications are in their bags. College students are always needing pens, pencils, and their cell phone in a short amount of time. It is wise for female students to have their purses organized so they can find these things easier and not have to search through their purse to find their pen or cell phone. Finally, businesswomen keep their Blackberries, their schedules, and their important documents located within in their briefcases and/or their purses.

To be a good businesswoman, you need to be organized and in order to do so, these women need to have their briefcase or purse as organized as it can be . It would look pretty bad if a businesswoman is in an important business meeting with executives and she has to search her purse to find all the materials she needs for the meeting. If she has to search for a minute or two through her purse to find things it looks unprofessional and it gives the message that she doesn't have her life together. Again, this is an example where purse organization is important.

There are lots of benefits to having organization in your purse. It can be pretty bothersome when you are at a sales counter trying to purchase something and you have to dig through your purse to find your wallet or credit card. Also, it is a pain to have to take a long time to look through your purse to find your car keys after coming out of a mall or the grocery when your hands are full of bags. How many of us have, at one point, had to empty the entire all of the contents of our purses to find our car keys? This does not have to be how your life is . Also, lots of females keep their day planners in their purses. When your purse is organized, it is simple to find your planner so you don't have to search for your planner either.

An organized purse is one of the easiest and smartest ways to start making your life more organized. Numerous females keep some of their most important items in their purse, so being able to find these items quickly and efficiently can always be a help and never a hindrance. You do not have to be bashful when it comes to telling friends that you have an aide to help you organize your purse. Nearly every woman should have something to keep their purse in order, so it is easy to find things and so that they can make their life easier.

A Review Of LifeLock -- Part Of The Solution, Or The Problem?

A Review of LifeLock -- Part of the Solution, or the Problem?

by Jed Jensen

A Review of LifeLock -- Part of the Solution, or the Problem?

Jed Jensen

Are you secure? Do you worry about your security? What do you worry about most?

Terrorists? Armed burglars?

Your number one security concern should be identity theft.

This is the reason:

There are people all over the world working outside of the official economy. These are not team players. They are free riding parasites, sucking their living out of honest folks. Now some of these people are driven to do what they do out of desperation, but that's not our concern here.

Have you ever been a victim of identity theft? Has a friend been a victim? Then you know how difficult it can be to defend yourself against creditors, bill collectors, and lawyers, even though you didn't do anything they are accusing you of.

It can ruin your life. It can lead you to large debts. It can force you to declare bankruptcy.

Now, there's a saying in the old country: scams beget scams.

There are many identity protection services arising every day. Lifelock is one. And there are others.

Do these services actually do anything for you? We'll talk mostly about Lifelock here. It's the biggest one. Does it really help?

Are they just playing a numbers game? Getting a million people to pay a monthly fee just to pay out a little bit here and there, and banking the rest?

My skepticism was shown to be misleading in this case. Lifelock actually does a lot for you. Here's a rundown of some of the highlights:

First, they ask the credit bureaus to run a fraud check on your account. This makes sure no one has already been abusing your identiy. And they do this every 90 days.

Second, every year LifeLock makes sure you get a complete credit report.

Third, Lifelock guarantees any losses up to a million dollars.

Fourth, Lifelock removes one of the hackers' top tricks by getting your name off of the lists of credit card companies sending you pre-approved offers.

Fifth, they keep a large budget of lawyers on hand to help you with any identity-related trouble you encounter.

In the end I find myself recommending Lifelock and other identity protection systems. They should help you rest easy knowing that they will prevent much identity theft, and be there for you in case something does happen.

I can conclude that Lifelock, and most of the other providors, are a part of the solution, and not just another part of the problem.

Jed Jensen has provided this (http://www.sixfoldsecurity.com/financial/identity_theft.php) Lifelock review. Jed is quickly becoming one of America's top security experts.

Cost-Saving Tips For Insuring Teen Drivers

Cost-Saving Tips for Insuring Teen Drivers

by Penny Hagerman

Saving money on auto insurance helps everyone's pocketbook. But
once your teenager gets behind the wheel, all hope of cheap car
insurance rates is lost.

Or is it?

The Low-Down

Here's the bad news: adding a teen driver to your policy
can increase your auto insurance rates by as much as 50 to 100
percent. This is simply because young people often take risks
while driving, and don't have the experience needed to make wise
decisions behind the wheel.

Distraction also causes many accidents and deaths on the road
where young people are concerned.

But there is good news. You can impact those auto
insurance increases--and keep them to a minimum--just by
planning ahead and taking decisive action.

If you and your child are willing to work together to help keep
costs low, you might be surprised the difference you'll see in
your auto insurance rates.

What You Can Do

So what can you do to help keep car insurance rates low?
Follow these cost-saving tips recommended by insurance
experts:

Insure your son or daughter on your auto insurance
policy.
It is generally cheaper to add your teenager to your
insurance policy than to purchase a separate one just for the
child. If your child will be driving his or her own car, adding
that vehicle to your own policy also qualifies you for a
multi-policy discount.

Encourage your teen to get good grades and take a driver's
training course.
Most auto insurance companies offer student
discounts for maintaining at least a "B" average in school and
taking driver's training courses.

Shop around for the best rates and coverage before you settle
on a new policy.
Insurance companies vary dramatically in
their pricing strategies concerning young drivers, so make sure
to compare offerings side-by-side.

Pick a safe car for your teenager to drive. The type of
car a young person drives can dramatically affect the price you
pay for car insurance. A safe, easy-to-drive car poses less risk
to both your auto insurance company and your teenager--and helps
keep insurance rates down.

Inform your insurer if your child is going away to
school.
When your young person attends school at least 100
miles away and leaves the car at home, you qualify for an auto
insurance discount during that time, since the risk of accident
is reduced while they're away.

Be a good role model for your teen. Always wear your
seatbelt; follow traffic laws, and remember that children often
mimic what their parents do. The better example you set while
driving, the better driver your teen will most likely
be--resulting in lower car insurance rates.

Encourage safe driving habits. Initiate conversations
about the risks of distractions, drinking and driving, and lack
of sufficient sleep before driving. Discuss with your teen how
using a cell phone, talking to friends or listening to music can
distract the attention and cause an accident, further escalating
auto insurance costs.

Limit the amount of time your teenager may drive without your
supervision.
Many states have already reduced their rate of
teen accident by restricting the amount of time new drivers may
be on the road without adult supervision. So take responsibility
for your teen's driving time; you'll help keep your child
safe--and keep auto
insurance rates low.

The Results

By planning ahead and taking decisive action, you and your child
can safely navigate the teenage years and keep auto insurance
increases to a minimum.

All it takes is a little time, effort and--most
importantly--communication!

Eating Disorders: A Teenager Needs Advice

Eating Disorders: A Teenager Needs Advice

by Dr. Jennifer Sowle

Dear Dr. J.

I am 16 years old and I think I think I have an eating disorder.
My mom loves me very much and she's always supported me in my
dream to be a model. Ever since I can remember, my mom has tried
to help me find the right clothes, talk right, and get exercise
and eat in a healthy way. Up until this year, I really thought I
wanted to be a model, but now I'm in my junior year of high
school and I think I want to go to college to be a teacher or
maybe join the Peace Corps. I've never had a boyfriend before
and now I'm going with Tim who thinks I'm beautiful whether I
wear makeup or not. In fact, he says he likes the "natural
look". I've stopped wearing so much makeup and I've been eating
more when I go out with Tim.

It was Tim who noticed that I hardly eat anything when I'm out.
He wonders if I have a problem. His sister had anorexia and had
to go away to a treatment place. He's worried about me. I'm
trying to show him that I don't have anorexia like his sister,
but now I feel terrible because I've been throwing up since I
was 13. I feel like I should tell him, but I don't want to lose
him. My mom is mad because she says I look "terrible" and that
I'm "letting myself go". I have gained a little bit of weight
and Tim thinks I look pretty. My mom keeps asking me if I'm
exercising. She made a deal with me that I could go out more if
I exercise and stop eating sweets. She had some chocolates
hidden up in the pantry and I got into them and ate some, and
she found out and was really mad.

Tim is really nice and is popular and studies and is planning to
go to college. His parents go to our church and are really nice
too. Now my mom says I'm spending too much time with Tim and
wants me to limit it to once every two weeks. I don't understand
why she's so mad.

I think I have bulemia. What should I do? I don't want to hurt
anybody's feelings, especially my mom, but I think she's too
much in my business. Everyday when I get home, she asks about
what this girl said, or that girl said. She wants to know
everything Tim says and then gets mad when I tell her. Maybe I
should just break up with Tim so he doesn't get hurt.

Marcie

Dear Marcie:

Yes, I certainly think you do have Bulemia Nervosa. You can
check the specific symptoms here on the website. If you are
vomiting after you eat as part of trying to control your weight,
you have a problem. It is very important for you to get help
with this right away.

Up until recently, your mother has been totally in charge of
your decisions. She decides what you should wear, eat, and do.
She is way too involved and way too controlling. Part of the
clinical picture for a Bulemic is an overinvolved mother. Your
mother needs to get therapy to help her find a more healthy way
of relating to a teenage daughter. Perhaps she could be a part
of your therapy at some point. It appears that your mother has
revolved her life around you and that isn't good. She may even
be trying to live her life vicariously through you. Because of
this, if you don't do as she expects, she becomes frustrated and
angry, and tries anything to get you back under her control. She
is going to try to break up your relationship with Tim because
he has an influence on you that is running contrary to hers. I
know this sounds harsh, but somebody has to say it...your
mother needs to back off and let you be who you want to be.
Hopefully, you will go away to college and at least create some
physical distance with your mother.

Because you have this enmeshed (too close) relationship with
your mother, you have never developed an internal guide to help
you make your own decisions. Now that you have Tim in your life,
you're now trying to please him too. The stress of being caught
between the needs of these two powerful people in your life
could make your eating disorder worse. As strange as this seems,
your eating disorder gives you a sense of control. Even though
you feel out of control when you're in it, it is the one thing
you do have control over. This does sound strange, and that's
why you need to get into therapy with somebody who understands
the complexities of this condition. Even if you attach yourself
to the therapist for a while and try to please her, at least you
will have the influence of somebody who has your best interests
at heart. Eventually, however, the purpose of the therapy is to
help you find your own inner voice which tells you what you need
and want. My guess is that you have anxiety about being perfect
and not making mistakes. You mentioned that Tim is your first
boyfriend and he's probably the first person outside the family
who has had a different opinion. This can throw you into quite a
turmoil on a very deep level. Depression and anxiety are
probably part of what you are experiencing right now. Check with
your school and see if they can help get you a referral to a
therapist or eating disorder group facilitated by a
professional. The school counselor could also be a valuable
mediator in approaching your mother about getting help. She will
be very threatened by your seeking therapy. She will be afraid
the therapist will blame her and I'm not sure her ego strength
is that solid. Whatever you do, do not take responsibility for
the feelings of these loved ones. It is up to them to deal with
their own feelings. It's your job to focus on yourself so that
you can begin to recover from this eating disorder.

Home Remedies For Acne - No Myths Involved

Home Remedies For Acne - No Myths Involved

by Alan Dickson

There are home remedies for acne that have proven to be as effective in clearing pimples as any costly medicated creams. These are concoctions you can easily make at home with ingredients that you might even find right under you nose. They are very simple to do and you won't need to spend on it at all.

With so many tips on how to make homemade treatment for pimples, it is quite overwhelming to choose which one is the best for you. It would be quite a hassle to try them all out to find out which one actually works. The best advice one can get is one that has a scientific explanation to it; a homemade recipe for acne that is considerably scientifically proven.

Before anything else, finding out what causes pimples would be helpful information in considering which of the homemade pimple treatments are really effective. Pimples are caused by the blockage of the pores. Fact is, oil is consistently being produced under the skin. Once the skin's pores are blocked, the oil will not be able to find its way out. The trapped oil will eventually gather bacteria that accumulate overtime under the skin. The oil and the bacteria are the reasons why our outer skin gets those bumps, which we call pimples. It happens mostly during puberty. At this age, the skin gets relatively thicker and oilier; making it more conducive to the clogging of the pores. Big acne is more prominent in teenagers than adults due to the same reason.

Undoubtedly, there are medicated pimple treatments that really work. Scientists have studied everything about pimples and have come up with active ingredients that can combat the causes of pimple growth. These ingredients are now found in almost every costly acne treatment cream in the market.

Benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid are the top active ingredients used to make the leading pimple treatment creams available in the market today. These ingredients are clinically proven to enhance skin regeneration, eliminate bacteria, and unclog the pores of the skin surface.

As I said in the beginning, there is a 100% chance that you will find the ingredients you need in concocting home remedies for acne solution in your in your house, right at this very moment. Benzoyl peroxide is an ingredient of most toothpaste. Salicylic acid is found in aspirin and some dandruff shampoo. However, wait; don't apply these items on your pimples just yet. Benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid are known to dry up the skin. You will need some more products that will help moisturize and invigorate your skin.

There are countless of natural produce that are effective in moisturizing and revitalizing the skin. Mint, thyme, cucumber, aloe, berries, egg whites, and even garlic are perfect to use in making your home remedies for acne. Any of these will do. Two or three of it is even better. Just put any of the mentioned natural items in a blender, mix in a spoonful of toothpaste or 2 tablets of aspirin, push the puree button, and you're all done. Apply your concoction on the affected area, put more if you have big acne. Do this before you go to bed and leave it overnight. If you do this religiously, expect that your face will be clear of pimples in less than 2 weeks.

Although these home remedies for acne are very effective in getting rid of pimples, there are some major facts you have to remember so as to achieve the best results in curing acne. Cleaning your face will help avoid bacteria build-up; fatty foods will accelerate the production of oil in your face; popping a pimple will cause the skin to scar which might be visible for many years to come. With these in mind, make sure your face is clean, wash it three to four times a day; avoid eating fatty foods; never ever squeeze big acne (or any sized acne for that matter). If you adhere to all these, your pimples will be gone in no time.

Make sure that the medicated cream you purchase also has natural moisturizers in it since the ingredients mentioned above tend to dry up the skin pretty fast. Natural oils like Aloe Vera, Acai berry and olive oil have been reported to effectively moisturize the skin while the other ingredients target the affected areas.

There are oral medications that help kill bacteria that cause pimples. These are Erythromycin, Tetracycline, and Minocycline. However, anti-bacteria medicines such as these offer temporary results. The bacteria develop a resistance to it over time.

Many people are not aware that these kinds of topical medicated pimple creams and oral antibiotics are also effective remedies on how to remove blackheads. See, blackheads are not caused by outside dirt blocking the pores. On the contrary, they originate from the blockage of the pores from the oil and bacteria accumulation underneath the skin surface. This is the reason why it is so difficult to get rid of blackheads. With the help of these medications, they kill the bacteria under the skin and they help clear the pores to enable the toxins and oil to come out.

For those of you who are asking the questions ?how to cure acne? and ?how to remove blackheads?, you are in for a big surprise. Homemade pimple remedies can be very effective in treating pimples and eliminating blackheads. Mix toothpaste and strawberries or cucumber in a bowl and chill the mixture in the ref for an hour. Toothpaste contains benzoyl peroxide while strawberries and cucumber are great moisturizers. Apply your concoction on the affected area every night before you go to sleep for a week or two. Do this regularly to have a clear and supple complexion in no time at all.

The Importance Of Proper Vehicle Maintenance

The Importance Of Proper Vehicle Maintenance

by George Archer

In this day and age, your car is just as valuable as a horse was back in the 1800's. Keeping your transportation well maintained is extremely important, but there are still a large number of people who are unsure about exactly what steps they need to take to make sure their vehicle stays in tip top shape. There are a few basic things that you can do to ensure this, however.

Change your oil on the schedule that your service provider recommends. This is typically every 3,000 miles, but going until around 4,000 miles will not severely impact the performance of your vehicle. It is best, however, to have it changed every 3,000 miles if at all possible. Whoever you get to change your oil will typically place a sticker on your windshield that lets you know when you need to come back and have it changed again. Make use of it.

Whatever you do, though, don't forget your tires. Having good quality tires that are all the same size and are inflated properly is extremely important to prevent car accidents. Over-inflated tires can cause the tire to wear out much faster in the center than on the outside, but under-inflated tires can cause blowouts. In vehicles that are high off the ground, such as SUVs, can roll over as a result of a tire blowout. Keep your own tire gauge in your vehicle so you can test it when airing your tires up, because the gauges on air pumps at gas stations are often inaccurate at best.

Your battery is the next most important thing that you need to make sure and take care of. If you buy a used vehicle, you should replace the battery first thing, because you don't know its history. Too many people have purchased used vehicles that work fine the first week and then start having problems afterward, whether it's due to tires or bad batteries. Keep a pair of jumper cables in your trunk, whether you have a new battery or not. Driving your vehicle often is important to keep the battery charged, so driving a vehicle that is in storage is important to guard against having a dead battery.

Transmission and power steering fluid is also something that you need to watch out for. Transmissions are expensive to have replaced no matter what type of vehicle you have, while power steering fluid is necessary if you have power steering. If the power steering fails while you're driving, it could cause you to have an accident.
